Projects

Family, land and responsibility — lived, not performed

The Olive Oil Project is a small example of what School of Simple Living means in practice: useful knowledge, practical life skills, family, land, honest work and value connected to real life.

Olive trees in Portugal

A practical example from Portugal

Olive grove in Portugal

When Bharat / Ben's son helps source local, manually harvested organic olive oil from Portugal, the school becomes visible in miniature. It is not only a product. It is a learning field: sourcing, communication, service, quality, trust, entrepreneurship and relationship with land.

The project creates a simple win-win inside the community. Members can receive a high-quality natural oil while a young person is encouraged and strengthened in early entrepreneurship.

What this project represents

  • Family-based learning.
  • Local relationships.
  • Useful exchange.
  • Land connection.
  • Early entrepreneurship.
  • Community support beyond abstract money logic.

School of Simple Living wants to create many such moments: spaces for exchange, mutual support and contribution where value is measured by real usefulness created with and for one another.
