Simple Living & High Thinking Course

A guided course for people who want to simplify outer life while strengthening responsibility, family, community, meaningful work, and spiritual direction.

Starts 11 August 2026  ·  18:00–20:00 Lisbon / 19:00–21:00 Berlin

From longing to a course path

Many people feel drawn to simple living, but the first steps can feel unclear. What do you change first? How do you reduce dependency without becoming reactive? How do you bring family, work, money, land, health, and spiritual life into one coherent direction?

The Simple Living & High Thinking Course turns that longing into a practical path. It helps you treat your life as something that can be consciously redesigned, one decision and one experiment at a time.

Framework and online course

The SLHT Framework

The course is built around the Simple Living High Thinking Mandala: domains of life, phases of transformation and principles that keep practical change connected to self-realization.

Simple Living High Thinking Mandala showing the SOSL method, phases, domains and principles.

Simple Living & High Thinking has two connected layers. First, it is a framework: a set of processes, principles, tools, and techniques for redesigning life with more simplicity, responsibility, and spiritual direction.

Second, it becomes accessible as an online course. The course gives structure, sequence, examples, reflection prompts, and implementation steps so the framework can move from idea into lived practice.

The framework

Processes, principles, tools, and techniques for decisions, habits, family life, work, land, community, and inner practice.

The online course

A guided path that turns the framework into modules, exercises, experiments, reviews, and concrete next steps.

The origin of the Simple Living & High Thinking framework was first shared in Bharat's TEDx talk about leaving the hamsterwheel and rebuilding life around family, nature, service and self-realization. Watch the TEDx talk →

What the course helps you do

Course modules

  • Intro: understand the framework, the method, and your starting point.
  • Agitation: honestly see where the current life pattern no longer works.
  • Orientation: clarify roles, nature, responsibility, values, and spiritual direction.
  • Simplification: reduce noise, consumption, false needs, and draining dependencies.
  • Preparation: design rhythms for family, food, work, learning, health, and community.
  • Intention: set direction, clarify what you are moving toward, and ground your motivation.
  • Attention: turn insight into experiments, accountability, reviews, and next steps.
  • Devotion: become more useful to family, society, nature, and God.

A grounded transformation

This is not about copying someone else's lifestyle. It is about becoming responsible enough to choose what serves life in your own context.

Some people begin with decluttering. Others begin with food, homeschooling, remote work, land, community, spiritual practice, or leaving a career track that no longer feels true. The course can begin wherever life is asking for more honesty.

Over time, this path can also grow into retreats, workshops, and shared harvests on the land: real-world spaces where people practice simple living together and orient their lives toward a higher meaning.

Who this is for

  • People who feel the weight of a life built around performance, status or consumption — and sense that something essential is missing.
  • Professionals, parents, or practitioners ready to trade lifestyle inflation for clarity and real freedom.
  • Those drawn to intentional living — whether through land, community, family, or a quieter form of meaningful work.
  • Anyone who has sensed the pull toward a higher purpose but has not yet found a framework to act on it practically.

This is not a course for people who want quick productivity hacks. It is for those willing to ask: what kind of life am I actually building?

What you will build

  • A personal Simple Living vision — written, grounded and honest about your own situation.
  • A reduced-noise life architecture: clearer priorities, lighter daily structure, fewer draining dependencies.
  • Practices rooted in the SLHT Mandala — a living framework you can return to whenever life gets complicated again.
  • A relationship with this path that grows over time: through community, retreats, and ongoing orientation toward self-realization.
