SLI facilitator-development format

Transformative Coach Training

Train to facilitate deeper listening, honest dialogue and transformational communication.

Transformative Coach Training is a train-the-trainer format for people who want to learn, embody and facilitate Transformative Communication and coaching-based communication practices in groups, teams, learning spaces and communities.

Professionals in discussion during a leadership conversation in a bright meeting space.

Why this training exists

From knowing communication ideas to holding a room

Many people understand communication concepts intellectually, but still feel unsure when they need to listen deeply, reflect feelings, ask powerful questions, interrupt a harmful pattern or guide a group through a real conversation. This training develops the presence, language and facilitation practice needed to support transformation responsibly.

Practical

Skills you can facilitate

The work is practical, reflective and experiential. You practise how to create learning spaces where people can speak concretely, listen actively, describe feelings, make requests and take responsibility for their part in a relationship or team pattern.

Reflective

Inner work and communication

Participants explore the link between speech, intention, emotional clarity and integrity with their word. The training includes personal inquiry into habits, payoffs, inner resistance and the conditions that support meaningful change.

Experiential

Learning through practice

The format emphasizes demonstrations, practice conversations, peer exercises, role-play, reflective assignments and facilitation practice rather than passive lecture.

What you learn

Core learning areas

The training brings communication, coaching presence and facilitation together so participants can support deeper learning in real relationships, teams and communities.

Listening and empathy

Hear what is being said and what is underneath

Active listening, empathic response, advanced empathy, emotional vocabulary, non-verbal and paralinguistic communication, recognizing energy and meeting people where they are.

Transformative communication

Speak clearly without losing connection

Roadblocks to effective communication, concreteness in speech, empathic dialogue, boundaries, personal issues in coaching conversations and WIN as a structure for assertive expression.

Coaching presence

Invite awareness instead of giving answers

Powerful questions for awareness-raising, client self-determination, agenda setting, coaching presence, responsible self-disclosure and responsible challenge.

Feedback and commitments

Support change after insight

Feedback, immediacy, commitment structures, SMART goals, Personal Achievement Compact / PACT, Be-Do-Have, integrity and the relationship between our word and our actions.

Inner frameworks

Work with patterns and motivation

The training draws on reflective frameworks such as the three guna model, grungies and payoffs to help facilitators recognize hidden drivers in communication and behavior.

Facilitation

Hold group learning spaces

Participants practise facilitating group learning spaces, giving instructions, reflecting group dynamics and supporting a learning atmosphere that is honest, grounded and respectful.

How you practice

Practice-based learning

Transformative Coach Training is not designed as a lecture series. Participants learn through direct practice, reflection and facilitation experiments.

Demonstrations and modeling

See communication, coaching and facilitation moves demonstrated before practising them in a structured way.

Practice conversations

Work with real topics through peer practice, role-play, personal inquiry and reflection on what helped or blocked contact.

Facilitation practice

Practise holding exercises, giving prompts, inviting reflection and supporting a group without turning the space into advice-giving or performance.

Source traditions and alignment

Rooted in communication, coaching and servant leadership

The learning is aligned with the spirit of Relationships That Work, informed by Satvatove principles and Transformative Communication practice, and compatible with ICF coaching principles such as ethics, presence, active listening, powerful questioning and client self-determination.

This SLI format is not presented as an official Satvatove or ICF-accredited programme. It is a practical SLI training format informed by Transformative Communication, Relationships That Work, Satvatove principles and ICF-compatible coaching practice.

Who this is for

People who support others through communication and change

For practitioners who want more depth, embodiment and group facilitation capacity in their communication work.

Trainers and educators

For people who teach, train or host learning spaces and want participants to practise transformation rather than only hear concepts.

What this is not

Clear boundaries

Not a quick technique workshop

The emphasis is on practice, embodiment and facilitation capacity, not a list of scripts to memorize.

Not therapy training

The work supports communication, reflection and learning. It is not presented as therapy training or a substitute for therapeutic care.

Not a passive lecture format

Participants should expect practice, feedback, self-reflection and exercises that build real facilitation confidence.
